Hey all - here I am - Wednesday blog! YAY me for sticking to my Wednesday blog day!! ( Thanks to Cherise for reminding me today! )
I was ready to press publish to this post in the afternoon but for some darn reason - it will not upload any of my pictures... It's still not, so I had to change my entire post! ARGH! Super annoying! Oh well you will have to wait to have a laugh at my expense another day! It was good too!
Things have been pretty busy in the life of SHE I have to say! There is always a ton to do, a ton to think about, and a ton to plan, as I mentioned last week I am trying to get better at the planning part. I got myself this cool new book to keep track of everything. It basically is daytimer looseleaf! Pefect for me and all of my "lists" I have always been a list maker, and I have never had more lists in all of my life. Oh well, we learn new things every day so away I go!
One new thing I have been training myself to do is to eat better and to eat breakfast! I have never been much of a breakfast eater, and I KNOW I need to, so I have been really making an effort for the past couple weeks to change some of my ways, and I have been doing really well!
I began to read a book called "Eating Clean" by Tosca Reno - it was recommended to me by a friend and also my cousin who is bascially one big muscle! I am excited about this book and the eat clean lifestyle - it is not easy to change into, and it is a TON to learn, but I am making small changes a bit at a time. Every day is not perfect, today was one of them, but I am not beating myself up about it. I am getting better all of the time and choosing cleaner food to eat. I feel so much better about what is going into my body that is for sure.
I have been eating real cooked oatmeal with fresh strawberries or blueberries and wheatgerm, or shredded wheat for breakfast. The trick is to eat "clean" "live" foods all day long basically! I have been choosing food to eat all day like a hard boiled egg, a piece of fruit, cut up veggies ( no dip! ) Whole wheat wraps with tuna... I could go on... I am having a challenge figuring out what to eat, and planning my shopping slection to include a better variety, but am positive I am on the right track! I will keep you posted as I progress! Exciting times!!
