Hello everyone! I am excited to be back from my amazing 2 weeks away in Orlando Florida! My family and I had an amazing time, we did 6 days of Disney, 1 day at Sea World, two days of Universal Studios, 1 day at Daytona Beach, 1 day at Tampa Busch Gardens, and a couple days of shopping! Talk about BUSY, we definitely were and it was very fun! I had a really nice time with my parents and bothers family with my 2 little nephews! I will try and get up a few pics this week!
I actually did not even work while I was away .. not working does not happen too often for me, when you own your own business it is hard to make time for yourself to NOT work, especially to travel for that long and that far away! My husband is also self employed so it was pretty hard getting both of us on the same schedule so we could both go away at the same time! Well worth it! I huge huge thank you goes out to Shaughn and Cherise for handling everything while I was away back at the office!
They had a few funny things happen while I was away but they handled everything that came along! They had all of new products to process, and rearranged the shop floor to get everything sorted and put away, they got the brand new catalogues sent out, and handled orders as usual, they also dealt with everything in a day that I usually do. Thank you so much Shaughn! This was a huge thing for me, to be able to step away and out of everything, and to come back now and be able to stay out of it, it us super exciting that I will now be able to focus more ON my business and not IN my business which is what everyone that is self employed knows they need to do, but somehow it is hard to get going on it and to actually step away from the day to day things that tie up all of your time!
Thank you very much again Shaughn for helping me to enter into a new phase of my life and my business! I am excited to grow into this new position! You made me have a most relaxing trip and I am so grateful for you!
A couple more big thank you's are going to a couple people - the first person is to Laura Barkman for stepping in and handling so many things while I was away. All of the excel order forms that you spent so much time on - it is SO appreciated! She is a very organized girl and always on the ball - Thanks Laura for everything that you do for me - and everyone else!!!!
Last but not least is thanks to Katherine, after braving another holiday season with tons of engraving she had to do right up until a couple days before Christmas, having a 2 daybreak and then starting the catalogue - sheesh - that was borderline impossible - but she did it and now the catalogue is ready for all of us to enjoy! She is an integral part of our team - and is also appreciated very much!
